Winter bus trip Terms and Conditions
We are an extremely flexible company when it comes to cancellations, missing the bus, and other circumstances that may come up causing you to miss a trip. Please respect this flexibility and give us as much advance notice as possible.
All participants under the age of 18 are required to complete a release of liability form unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please download this form, fill it out, and submit it to our bus representative the morning of pick up. We would also like the parent or guardian to call us so we can discuss any specific trip details and exchange contact information.
Customer cancellations and refunds
All cancellations are subject to a $2.50 handling fee per person being cancelled. This fee includes cancellations made in advance. Reservations cancelled at least 72 hours prior to the trip's departure are eligible for a full refund less the handling fee. Reservations cancelled after the 72 hour period are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person. Please email us to arrange a transfer. No refunds or date transfers will be issued for missing the bus.
Requesting a cancellation or date change
To cancel or move a reservation please reply to your email receipt and include a message on what you'd like to do with your trip reservation. Moving or placing a reservation on hold prior to 72 hour window is not subject to a handling fee.
Road closures and cancelled trips
If the road should be delayed or closed and the group is unable to ski or ride, TSAST will refund the cost of unused resort items (lift tickets, rentals, lessons). Guests may also use this as credit towards a future trip. The value of the bus ride, $48 (same price as a ride only), will not be refunded. Road closures are out of our control. If a trip is late to the resort or can not make it do to weather the charter and drivers services still need to be accounted for.
We may decide to postpone a trip or cancel a trip due to anticipated severe road conditions or resort conditions that are less than favorable. These cancellations are up to our discretion. Customer safety and satisfaction are our primary concerns. As locals here in Lake Tahoe we monitor conditions first hand and avoid trips with potential road closures. In the event that TSAST cancels a trip, all registered guests will be notified and offered full refunds or rollover options. We these decisions swiftly so you make alteratives plans for the weekend or other arrangements to get to the resort.
